Continuing on pen & ink drawings – I ventured down Godfather lane and drew this portrait of
Robert de Niro playing Vito Corleone in the second movie:

After scanning the drawing, I darkened the inked section on the left and made a few small adjustments (it’s funny the things you notice once you look at a drawing on a screen – almost the reverse to proof-reading, where you notice mistakes after something has been printed…) I couldn’t decide if the quote from the movie distracts too much – so I made 2 versions :)

I think that the quote from the movie simply creates a second image – therefore, two great images. He is quite good looking in a rather sinister way. Thank you.
