Drawing Aragorn

Today’s pencil drawing is (also from a photo) of Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. As our house has avid fans of both LOTR and Dr Who – there are plenty of great characters to be inspired by :)

    A beautiful drawing. I like the way you have added the blue to the eyes; it is so subtle that it is almost not there, but yet it is there.

    Thank you ever so much for visiting again – and commenting :) The blue is a fairly soft ‘lead’stick (Progresso), I have a couple of different colours and have found they work (adhere) over almost anything (charcoal, graphite, pencil, water colour…).
