I draw inspiration from life, faces, natural forms and the rhythm of line and colour. Using colour and texture to explore character and scenery, my art centres on capturing the figurative and emotional aspects of visual story-telling. I enjoy the tactile quality of traditional painting (which also shapes my approach to digital painting), allowing the finished artwork to evolve through freehand lines and individual brushstrokes.
